About Yo6 Computing
After spending several years in senior management, Steve Baker established Yo6 Computing in March of 1998. The company was formed purely because of Steve's love for creating administration systems, in addition to his love of computer programming.
Since that time Yo6 Computing have written bespoke software for a whole host of companies ranging from "one-man-bands" all the way up to major UK nationals.
Our philosophy has always been to give people the software that they so desparately need to run their businesses in these highly competitive times, at down-to-earth prices.
In addition to the bespoke software side of the business, Yo6 Computing also authored some software with a broader appeal:
Service Reminder Plus - Aimed at service engineers who require an easy way of creating service reminders for their clients.
Boiler Calc - Aimed at heating engineers who use the Whole House system to calculate the required output of a central heating boiler.
FACT - Written for Independent Financial Advisers to calculate how much commission is due to whom and so much more.
Address Book 2 - Written with everyone in mind. Address Book 2 allows the user to store contact details for all their family, friends and service providers and incorporates a quick-find function; much better than thumbing through the pages of a book. Additionally, it allows the user to print out lists of names, to make card sending easier, when festive seasons come around. And gives out alerts when any birthdays or other anniversaries are about come up.
Sort It - (Revised and updated version due for release later in 2009) - Written primarily for fireplace retailers to take the headache out of keeping on top of ordering goods.

We're always on the lookout for more programs to add to our ready-made software portfolio. If you can't find the software you're looking for, why not email us a rough outline of what it is you want? And include the name(s) of the other software you've tried (if any) and let us know where it/they fell short of the mark.
First, we'll have a look around and see if there's something suitable out there already at a reasonable price (if there is, we'll let you know about it). If we can't find anything either, we'll do some market research and, if we find that others are looking for the same sort of thing, we'll write it and give you a copy, free of charge, for coming up with the idea.
